Health Care Administration
Health care administrators are the managers who run health facilities, ranging from smaller, specific departments up to entire facilities or branches. They oversee and manage the delivery of health care on a daily basis.
There can be, and usually are, several levels of health care administration involved in one health care facility. In larger hospitals and clinics, a general administrator will oversee several lower-level administrators who manage separate areas such as nursing , health records , surgery or therapy. In smaller practices, a general health care administrator may take on more of these duties personally, and may even directly provide patient care.
