Simply because he is a republican, we ignored his bi-partisan spirit and we elected an inexperienced unknown candidate. How foolish.
The 'Dear Red States' post says 'and 99 % of Southern Baptists' wow- a little ignorant bigotry there?
That post starts out in a humorous way and descends into bigotry and snobbish elitism. Thats liberals for you- think they are smarter and they make such ignorant, judgmental statements.
Ever see a comparison of charity contributions between red states and blue? Red states give far more. Volunteer work? No comparison. Charity contributions of liberal politicians? Embarrassing.
Lastly, income and IQ between republicans and democrats? Better not go there.

I live in the blue state of Connecticut, where we just threw out a great congressman- Christopher Shays. That includes those that do not hold the same views as you do. Instead we have pretend liberals that treat politics as if it were a sporting event. We have pretend liberals that practice as much division among the masses as does any racist or bigot. We have pretend liberals that attack rather than embrace. We have pretend liberals that claim their intentions are to help the less fortunate, yet are completely content to ignore poor rural families while thumping their chests about sending 3 dollars a month to Sally Struthers. We have pretend liberals that trumpet their own intelligence without ever looking at another point of view, instead accusing conservatives of being hate mongers for doing the exact same thing. We have pretend liberals that throw out statistics and facts to support their own claims while discounting the statistics and facts that do not support their own particular point of view.
Basically, we have a bunch of pretenders that are more inclined to pat themselves on the back and point out the failures of others than actually trying to embrace the ignorant and help them understand a better way of life. Sounds like hate mongering to me.

If there were true liberals in the “blue states,” they would recognize the need for acceptance of everyone.
